Ling Jihun Crimson Typhoon: A Red Metal Beast on My Shelf
I finally got my hands on the Ling Jihun Crimson Typhoon, and let me tell you—the photos don’t do it justice. The second you pull this thing out of the box, the first thing you notice is the cold, heavy chill of actual metal. This isn’t your typical lightweight plastic figure; it’s a 1kg red brick that feels like it could actually take down a Kaiju (or at least break your floor if you drop it).
The “Three-Arm” Experience The engineering on the signature three-arm system is smooth but stiff. I spent way too much time playing with the “Windmill” spinning blades on the smaller arms. They spin freely and look incredibly menacing. Unlike other versions, these joints are tight—they don’t sag or droop, even in the most aggressive combat poses.
That LED Glow When you flick the switch for the LED mono-eye, the figure completely transforms. It gets that “living machine” vibe immediately. The red paint has a beautiful metallic finish that catches the light perfectly, making it look battle-ready rather than “toy-ish.”
The Heft The alloy content here is no joke. It stands solid as a rock. You don’t have to worry about it tipping over like top-heavy plastic models.
