I don’t say this often… but this one surprised me.
I’ve handled a lot of transforming figures over the years, and when I first got my hands on Heavy Iron W from Metal Cardbot, I expected something decent.
What I got was something much more solid.
The moment you lift it out of the box, you notice the weight and density. The ABS feels sturdy — not hollow, not flimsy. The joints are tight (actually tighter than many mainstream lines). It doesn’t wobble. It doesn’t lean. It stands like it knows it’s the main character.
Truck Mode
In vehicle mode, it has that industrial, heavy-duty construction truck presence. The sculpting is clean and mechanical without being overcomplicated. It looks believable — not cartoonish.
Robot Mode
Once transformed, it becomes a chunky, armored battle machine with serious shelf authority.
At approximately 30cm tall (around 11.8 inches), it towers over standard 18–20cm figures. If your display shelf currently feels “balanced,” this will immediately rebalance it — in its favor.
The transformation process is multi-step but logical. Not frustrating, not gimmicky. It feels engineered. The panels lock in securely, and once in robot mode, it holds poses confidently thanks to those tight joints collectors often mention.
Yes — they’re tight.
That’s actually a good thing for long-term display stability.
About Availability (Important)
Here’s the honest part:
This figure has been out for a while, and it’s not something that’s constantly restocked everywhere. Korean lines like this don’t always get the same global re-release treatment as bigger Japanese brands.
Right now, I only have a few units available in stock.
Once they’re gone, I genuinely can’t promise when — or if — I’ll be able to secure more at a reasonable price. Availability has been getting thinner, especially for boxed, complete sets.
If you’re a Metal Cardbot collector or someone who appreciates unique Korean mecha lines, this is one of those pieces that quietly becomes harder to find over time.
